Should I remove the rubber bands on my vine?

It depends on the vine, and how far along it is in the growing process. The rubber bands help contain the stems and provide support as it grows. If the vine has sufficiently twined itself around the support stakes, the bands might no longer be necessary. If in doubt, leave the rubber bands on until the vine has established itself onto the support you will be providing in your garden. The rubber bands will not harm the plant if left on.
