About Jonathan Pedersen

Jonathan Pedersen is the Chief Executive Officer at Monrovia. A highly experienced and well-regarded leader in the horticultural industry, Jonathan joined Monrovia as Vice President of Business Development and Intellectual Property in 2013. After achieving record growth in that area, he became Vice President of Sales and Business Development in 2019. Pedersen’s decades of experience in the industry also include various other roles in sales, marketing, and operations at Bailey Nurseries and Linder’s Greenhouses. In his past years with Monrovia, he has been responsible for some of the most significant plant introductions in the country.

Katie Tamony is the Chief Marketing Officer of Monrovia. With more than 20 years of expertise in lifestyle and leisure industries, Katie has been tracking trends and developing consumer insight measures to help companies and organizations prepare for the future throughout her career. In 2001, she became the editor-in-chief of Sunset Magazine and Sunset Books. Katie has long been interested in the intersections of garden, art, health, and well-being. A longtime avid gardener, she returned to Monrovia in 2020 to lead its consumer marketing into the future.

About Helen Lawson

Helen Lawson is the Social Media Manager for Monrovia, bringing over 25 years of experience in BRB marketing. Prior to joining the Monrovia marketing team, she provided marketing consulting and content development services to the green industry and contributed to publications including Southern Living, Birds & Blooms, and Nursery Management. A gardener in the red clay of metro Atlanta, she is a Georgia Certified Plant Professional and has held leadership positions in GardenComm and the National Initiative for Consumer Horticulture.
