Hi Gardener,
Spring is working its way closer. Can you feel it? The days are getting longer and I'm starting to see the first signs of growth in my garden. Whether your yard is like mine, covered in snow, or never stops, now's a great time to plan how to add more beauty in 2020.
What plants are you dreaming about for 2020? I can't wait to be able to add a Bountiful Blue® Blueberry or two for more fall color, Blue Angel White Pine for a little more privacy, and Frosty Ribbons® Hosta for more interest in my shade garden.
If you're like me, you want your garden to be as impactful as possible. One way to achieve that is with hard-working plants. Here's a roundup of varieties that add six months (or more!) of color to your yard. Also, you don't want to miss our post on long-blooming, hardy perennials. You can't go wrong with varieties like Brakelights® Red Yucca (Zones 5-10), Winter Dreams™ Double Fantasy Hellebore (Zones 3-9), or Sapphire Indigo™ Clematis (Zones 4-10).
Looking to get more from your yard in the cold season? I'm inspired by this lovely winter garden and hope you will be, too. If you're in a cold climate, discover tips to help your garden delight all your senses. Your trees may be leafless, so pay attention to the beauty of their bark.
Let's Grow Beautifully™ together!
